In early March, 2015, we had the pleasure of hosting the Vermont & New Hampshire chapters of Kids 4 Peace. We spoke with the Regional Director of the program, Jeff Mandell (pictured at right), about his experience working with the group.

Lonnie Poland, founder of Experience Yoga in Milton, Vermont, recently held her fourth annual Relax and Renew Women’s Yoga Retreat at Common Ground Center. The retreat has been so popular that Lonnie has added another weekend this year, coming up on March 14-15, 2015

We were pleased to host Full Barrel Co-op Brewery and Taproom's recent strategic planning retreat! Over a dozen volunteers, pledges and investors spent the day diving deep into their mission, vision, and values.

Connor began working at CGC in 2011 and has done nothing but impress myself and many others within the community. His dedication to our organization and faith in our mission to strengthen diverse families and communities makes him the perfect choice to take on this role. Please join me in congratulating Connor and thanking him for all the work and passion he has already given.

At Common Ground Center, we create a space where people can connect across differences. During the holiday season, we find ourselves connecting across faith with a universal message of love, cheer, and togetherness. Participants in our programs and groups that rent our site represent a multitude of faiths and spiritualities, and it is truly a blessing to be a part of the rich community that celebrates these differences.

...Indeed for me one of the great moments of the weekend was when Fred Kosnitsky (2014 week 4) and Sam Silverman (longtime CGC Alum) introduced the guys to a handful of new and exciting ways to play the game (including a version called night baseball.)

In honor of our 20th anniversary, we're re-publishing letters that we received from campers in the early years of Camp Common Ground. Many of these can be found in the commemorative Common Ground Center cookbook, which was published in Spring 2014. Please contact us if you'd like to purchase a copy!

Kombucha is a fermented tea that has been around for thousands of years. It has many health benefits -- though scientific research on kombucha is limited, it has a much longer history of being used as a health elixir than most of today’s pharmaceuticals.

This poem is a “remix” of the Morning Yawn, Camp Common Ground’s daily “newspaper.” The poem was written by camper Sally DeJesus during Week Three of Camp Common Ground in 2013 and performed at the Big Show. Below is a photos of Sally with her son at Camp.

We are extraordinarily pleased to welcome the recently elected members of Common Ground Center’s board of directors, including two who are renewing terms and three new folks!
