We
are located in Starksboro, Vermont which is 30 minutes from Burlington
and Lake Champlain. We are 6 hours from NYC, 4 hours from Boston and 2.5
hours from Montreal. Our 700 acre property includes hiking trails, mountain
forests, a scenic wetland and open fields. Lewis Creek meanders for almost
a mile along one border. The property includes 17 different natural habitats
and a great diversity of wildlife and vegetation. Our camp is located
on an old farm, nestled in the valley between the Hogback and Green Mountains.
Our goal is to tread lightly on the land around us and operate in an
environmentally responsible way. That is why we have donated a conservation
easement to protect 560 of our 700 acres from development in perpetuity.
Careful consideration has been taken to minimize the human impact in
our use of the land. We are committed to energy conservation, recycling
and to using environmentally friendly products and materials. Most of
the wood used in our construction was harvested and milled on site.
Program Facilities
Our facility offers many opportunities for outdoor recreation.
Large open fields are available for baseball, soccer, volleyball, and
group games. The miles of hiking trails on the property are perfect
for nature exploration and adventure. The creek has a variety of
swimming holes, offering the opportunity to cool off and play in the water.
A large wetland is home to many species of waterfowl, amphibians, and
aquatic mammals. At our relatively remote location, we can listen
to bird calls on quite morning and star-gaze on clear nights.
The Kid Barn is the starting point of our children's programs. Adult
programs are offered in the Farm House, the Dining Hall, the Hay Barn,
the Old Workshop, two art bays, a large screened-in porch and on the grounds.

"The food is terrific! I am so thankful for the kid
food options which were plentiful and well done. It was such a relief
to not have all the junk food problems that we usually encounter while
traveling.”
