Food at Common Ground Center

Delicious vegetarian dining with an emphasis on local and organic foods!

The food at Common Ground Center is spectacular and consistently receives rave reviews from our campers. Our professional kitchen staff prepares three inspired meals each day during our programs, beginning with dinner on the day of arrival and ending with breakfast on departure day. At meals, campers enjoy an extensive buffet as well as a full salad bar. Freshly baked bread, pizza, and other delicacies come from a camper built brick oven right on site. Healthy snacks are always available in the dining hall and there is also a morning snack for children in Kidville. Our highly praised cuisine includes offerings that appeal to both adults and children. And even meat lovers find plenty of options!

Summertime in Vermont offers a plethora of fresh, locally grown, and often organic, food. We strive to support local farmers by offering locally grown and organic food whenever possible. We are happy to accommodate special diets where possible and offer vegan options. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the office at 1-800-430-2667. 
We tailor the food choices and menus for each program. For example, there is vegetarian Chinese food at Chinese Culture Weekend and gluten-free food at Camp K.
