Common Ground Center is excited to announce that we will be running four, one-week sessions of day camp for children (ages 6 - 13) in the Addison and Chittenden County region this summer.
In many ways this day camp will look the same as it always has: lots of time outdoors exploring and learning about nature, swimming in the pond, and doing arts and crafts. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic we will also be following the important safety guidelines outlined by the Vermont Department of Health and that means camp will have several new and different facets this year.
Each session will have a maximum of 22 campers and 3 staff.
The daily schedule will run from 8:30am-3:30pm. Upon arrival (before getting out of the car) staff will be doing temperature checks and health surveys with participants. Thorough hand washing will take place at the start and end and frequently throughout the day.
$280 per child, 10% sibling discount
Due to the many changes required for day camp because of COVID-19 we have been forced to increase our rates. We have a limited amount of scholarships available this summer so we ask that if you are applying for a scholarship, that you only register for one week of Summer Adventure Camp to start. We will notify you if extra spots become available.
Unfortunately we are not able to offer bus transportation this summer.
Masks will be worn by staff while indoors and in close contact with campers. While campers are not required to wear masks, we highly recommend that campers bring a mask and have it accessible to wear. We will have extra masks available.
Refund Policy: Nonrefundable credits toward a future Common Ground Center program are available if you cancel. Credits are non transferable (outside of your immediate family) and are vaild for all Common Ground Center programs for up to one year.
Forced COVID-19 Closure: If we start a week of camp and need to shut down due to a case of COVID-19 we will offer a pro-rated refund. If we are unable to start a week of camp you will receive a 100% refund.
This year each week of Summer Adventure Camp will have an exciting theme culmitnating in a Friday Challenge Special.
