There are two ways to register for Camp Common Ground:

Basic Fees (sliding scale)

|Teens: $600-850||Toddlers: $150||Seniors: $550-750|
In addition to the fees above there is also a non-refundable $50 registration fee per family. If you wish to stay in a cabin, the Eco-Lodge, or reserve a tent platform, an additional fee applies. (Read more below.)The cost of Camp Common Ground includes tenting in the field, meals, program fees, and most materials. While you are free to purchase items in the camp store, you will find very little need to reach for your wallet during your week at family camp.
All our camp fees are on a sliding scale, so please pay what you feel you can afford within the range we've set up. You may select any amount within the price range outlined above. Please note, the bottom of the scale is a subsidized rate. See below for information on applying for additional financial aid. Due to the current exchange rate we offer a 20% discount for Canadian families.

We offer financial assistance in the form of partial scholarships to both campers and staff families. In order to be considered for financial aid, you must contact the office and register for one of our programs by sending in your registration form and your deposit. The demand for aid often exceeds our resources, so apply early.

If you do not receive enough money to make camp possible for your family, please notify our office immediately and your registration fee and deposit will be refunded.

Camp Common Ground raises funds for scholarships through an annual appeal to campers and other individuals. The demand for aid usually exceeds available funds. If you can, please make a donation to our Campership Fund with your registration. Your contribution will help a family who could not otherwise afford to enjoy a week at family camp! It will also enrich the family camp experience for everyone by helping to create a more diverse community. Thanks in advance for your generosity and learn more about giving here!
We have a variety of cabins from small 2-person cabins ($100) to a 6-person cabin ($300). Several cabins are wheelchair accessible. If you are willing to share cabin space, the cost to you would be $50 per single bed ($100 for doubles or Queen-size) per week. If you want your own private cabin, you must pay for all the beds in the cabin, regardless of how many you use.
Most cabin space is assigned on a first come, first served basis, but we do consider special needs in assigning cabin space. For more details about our cabins, click here or call the office at 802-453-2592.
Our state-of-the-art Eco-Lodge boasts seven rooms, each one with unique touches, that all have electricity and almost all have bathrooms. All of the rates below are the cost of renting a room in the lodge for the week of Camp Common Ground. Please note, those who wish to stay in the lodge are required to pay the full program tuition fee, unless they have a special need (a documented medical need for electricity, if you or someone in your family is over 70 years old, or if you have someone under 1 year old in your family).

2 person w/ bath: $300
4 person w/ bath: $500
5 person w/ bath: $550
Reserving Tent Platforms
There is a fee of $25 if you wish to reserve a tent platform for your tenting accommodations.
Deposits & Payments
In order to hold a space for you and your family, we must receive your registration and payment. If you are unable to pay in full at this time, you may pay 25% of your total now. For early registration, full payment is due by April 1. For regular registration, full payment is due July 1.
Nonrefundable credits toward a future Common Ground Center program are available if you cancel. Credits are non transferable (outside of your immediate family) and are valid for all Common Ground Center programs for up to one year. No credit or refund is available if you cancel within 48 hours of the start of your program.

Community Service has always been an important part of the Camp Common Ground experience and will be a part of all programs this summer. Through working and playing together we build community at CGC. By sharing the work, we also make our camp a more affordable experience for everyone. All campers are required to sign up to help in the kitchen, bathrooms, or around the site for three hours each week. Younger campers will work with their peers and youth leaders to complete their community service tasks. More details on community service will be available in the camper packet which you'll receive before camp.
